De Nudge Global Impact Challenge is a global, annual development program for young professionals focused on implementing sustainable projects. During the 14th edition in 2023, participants from international organizations such as Heineken, Ferrero Rocher, and Philips join a Future Design session to further enhance their own projects

EXECUTION

Rick Koster and Igor Verettas facilitate a Future Design session at the Peace Palace in The Hague. The 55 participants from 18 countries are guided into the future through a keynote speech. They then journey back in time, with the help of music and visuals, to 1993, where they offer retrospective advice (Past Design).

INTERPRETATION

Next, the participants travel 30 years forward to 2053 (Future Design). They engage in dialogue about the sustainable world they envision and discuss the advice they would give to people in 2023 to help achieve it. In the final step, back in 2023, participants use the wise voices from the future to refine their own plans and projects.
