Do you want to develop cool ideas with your employees or relations? The Cool Ideas Session is a brainstorm session that works. Dialogue, creativity and Appreciative Inquiry form the basis for this inspiring session

During five rounds the groups will get to know each other, will learn to dream, to share, to design and to reflect. By doing so during this super brainstorm session you will learn which cool ideas are already taking place and, with this knowledge, how you can effectively and quickly formalize tangible plans.

The tables, convered in baking paper, will become full of the greatest ideast. These ideas are well thought through and provided with the needed practical steps to actually get implemented.

EVERYTHING THAT GETS YOUR ATTENTION WILL GROW

The Cool Ideas Session is a methodology used to set up a lively dialogue based on everything that is going (extremely) well, i.e., everything that is really cool. Appreciative Inquiry is a means of watching and doing. This is an extraordinary powerful instrument used to generate positive change.

APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY

Appreciative Inquiry is an effective means to ensure that, for example during a change trajectory, positive steps forward are taken quickly. Small groups, through dialogue, discover what is working well and what more could be done. The groups help each other by sharing their knowledge.

The moderator of the session ensures the right mindset and understanding of the process through an informal introduction. The importance of opinion-free observation is discussed, but also the use of creativity and courage. Subsequently, each group passed through the five life phases: Discovering, Dreaming, Sharing, Designing and Reflection.

During a Cool Ideas Session the conversation is not about what is not working well. Therefore excellent supervision is imperative. Early on in the session participants will start to surprise each other with the cool things that are already happening, making them realize that much more is possible. This leads to people wanting to take ownership and the willingness to get into action at the end of the session
