Facta non Verba:
Looking at labor mobility from a different angle!

23 november 2017

REQUEST

Facta non Verba is a platform for the promotion of labor mobility, for knowledge sharing and actively getting started with job placement in South Holland. The assignment: organize an inspiring session for HR managers about the changing labor market, labor mobility, formal / informal learning and collaboration, where participants can share their knowledge.

IMPLEMENTATION

Approximately 80 HR managers from the vicinity of Rotterdam participated in the World Cafe. In her contribution, Edith Jacobs – policy coordinator of Urban Development for the Municipality of Rotterdam – shares that the city, the economy and people are changing. This requires a vision, strategy and a personal development plan from the business community and employees. Paul Smit introduces the World Cafe with an inspiring keynote speech about how the human brain works.

THEMES

During the 3 rounds of the World Cafe the HR Managers, in a continued different mix of people at each round table, form a dialogue with each other on the following topics: collaboration, innovation and life-long learning. Many ideas are shared about how to realize tangible plans. During the plenary feedback session the outcomes are discussed.

The annual networking event, in short:

The atmosphere during the event was exactly right in which to share insights and knowledge. The contribution by the moderator and the flash presentation stimulated and inspired participants to form a dialogue with each other during the World Café. The session fully met the objective set out by Facta non Verba.

An afternoon to look back on with pleasure, to reiterate on, and even more so to continue building on the results!
Highly recommended!
