JDE Coffee: Global Finance Meeting

REQUEST

Novella is asked to help think about an interactive and inspiring part of the three-day JDE Global Finance Meeting in Barcelona. The aim is knowledge sharing and to enter into meaningful dialogues with each other based on important issues/topics. The choice is made for The World Café Experience, moderated and introduced by Paul Smit.

IMPLEMENTATION

Paul Smit introduces the World Cafe with his own keynote speech Influencing the brain. How can you, as a leader, influence your employees and what are the correct methods used to influence the unconscious brain? The keynote gives the participants, from approximately 40 different counties, enough food for discussion during the World Cafe.

THEMES

During the World Cafe each participant has his/her own route to follow allowing for a continuous mix of pareticipants at each table. In this way everyone participates intensively on the following themes: learning agility, critical experiences and leadership capabilities. The output on the tablecloths is in abundance on which can be elaborated at a later stage.

The JDE Global Finance Meeting, in short:

It was an inspiring three days during which many different topics were discussed. Everyone got to talk with each other and there was a lot of discussion about how people are viewing the future (within JDE Coffee) with all the new developments of today. In the feedback given to us we were told that all the participants found this a fantastic way to get to know their colleagues better.
