Three strategic sessions for tomorrow’s education

REQUEST

SaKS consists of 15 primary schools in Alkmaar and Bergen, where education teams empower children with confidence, teach responsibility, and work together with students towards a better world. Future Design is being utilized for the new 5-year strategic period.

EXECUTION

Rick Koster and Igor Verettas facilitate three Future Design sessions, each involving 60 staff members, parents, and partners. Additionally, there is a session with children. Participants take a leap 30 years into the future to identify the decisions needed in today’s education.

INTERPRETATION

The wealth of insights from the future gathered in all sessions ultimately shapes the new strategy, titled “Education that Cares for the World.” Meaningful education and contributing to the world, rooted in who you are and what you can do, together with others, form the core of this approach.
