REQUEST

In 2019, Van Oord is launching the groundbreaking sustainability program Sustainable Earth Actions – S.E.A. Novella-theworldcafe.nl has been asked to organize two S.E.A. Talks in 2019 and 2020. These internal meetings are intended both to share information about the program and to gather input from employees.

EXECUTION

Van Oord and theworldcafe.nl are co-creating the program for both sessions, which will take place in a World Café setting. The language of communication will be English. In the groundbreaking program Sustainable Earth Actions, or S.E.A., sustainability, innovation, and collaboration are the key elements in solving today’s global challenges.

THEMES

The first S.E.A. Talk takes place in May 2019, with the theme “Accelerating Climate Initiatives.” In January 2020, the discussions during S.E.A. Talk 2 will focus on the theme “Enhancing the Energy Transition.” Both successful sessions are introduced with an inspiring keynote speech by Rick Koster, who also serves as the moderator throughout the entire session.
